CFL Betting Odds: Week 18

Toronto tries to salvage some pride in their dismal season as they travel to Winnipeg to face the Blue Bombers in the lone CFL betting matchup on Friday.

The Argonauts (4-12) fell 31-24 to West-leading Edmonton last week as a 4-point road underdog. That game’s combined score paid out to OVER bettors in totals betting. Winnipeg (10-6) is a huge 9.5-point favorite at 5Dimes, while the posted total is sitting at 49.

Toronto upset the Blue Bombers in their last meeting, but it’s Winnipeg who leads the season series 2-1 coming into this betting matchup.

Winnipeg got past Montreal 26-25 as a 1-point underdog last week to climb atop the East with the Alouettes. That game’s 51 points went UNDER the posted total of 52.5 set by oddsmakers.

Hamilton (8-8) will travel to Saskatchewan (4-12) for a meeting with the Roughriders in an early CFL betting matchup on Saturday. The Tiger-Cats don’t normally fare well against the Roughriders, but this year’s Riders are the worst they’ve been in over a decade. Hamilton crushed Saskatchewan in their only head-to-head meeting this season.

The Tiger-Cats snapped the Lions' winning streak with a 42-10 victory as a 1.5-point underdog last time out, while the 52 points went UNDER the posted total of 53.5. Hamilton has covered the spread in four of the last five, while Saskatchewan is 0-5 ATS.

In late CFL betting action on Saturday it’s the B.C. Lions (9-7) who host the Edmonton Eskimos (10-6) as a 4-point favorite at 5Dimes. The total for the game is set at 50.

Edmonton won the first meeting between these teams, but that was before the Lions came roaring back with a long winning streak that has them as Grey Cup contenders now. The Lions have won back-to-back games against the Eskimos and will draw most of the attention from bettors on the CFL betting lines in this matchup.

Montreal (10-6) hosts Calgary (9-7) in lone CFL betting action on Sunday with lots at stake. Montreal needs a win to stay in first, while Calgary is assured a playoff spot but can still earn a home playoff date before the regular season concludes in two weeks.

The Alouettes are 4.5-point favorites at 5Dimes, while the posted total is set at 56.
