CFL Week 12 Trends and Betting Preview

Week 12 of the CFL betting slate has four more games on tap, with the league's most lucrative team playing on the road as the Hamilton Tiger-Cats travel up the highway to take on the Toronto Argonauts at the Rogers Centre. Here's a look at the four games on the CFL odds board for the week ahead, starting on Friday night in Toronto.

Hamilton at Toronto - Friday, September 11

Last 10 Meetings: Toronto 4-6 SU, 3-7 ATS | OU 4-6

The Tiger-Cats have now paid out on the CFL betting lines in seven of their last eight games against the Argonauts as those two teams meet for the second time in two weeks on Friday. Hamilton thumped Toronto 42-12 as a 7.5-point home favorite last week in an UNDER result for totals bettors; the UNDER is 4-1 in their five most recent meetings.

At 5Dimes the Tiger-Cats are listed as 3.5-point favorites against the Argonauts.

Saskatchewan at Winnipeg - Saturday, September 12

Last 10 Meetings: Winnipeg 2-8 SU, 4-6 ATS | OU 8-2

Having beaten the Blue Bombers last week for their first victory of the season the Roughriders will get a chance to do it again when the teams meet on Saturday. Saskatchewan got past Winnipeg 37-19 as a 4.5-point home favorite last time out, in the fourth straight OVER result between the teams. The teams are a combined 6-13-1 ATS.

At 5Dimes the Roughriders are listed as 1-point favorites against the Blue Bombers.

Calgary at Edmonton - Saturday, September 12

Last 10 Meetings: Edmonton 0-10 SU, 1-9 ATS | OU 5-5

The Eskimos ran their lengthy losing streak against the Stampeders to 12 games last week as the rivals meet again on Saturday in CFL odds action. Calgary topped Edmonton 16-7 and covered the 4-point spread at home last week, and they've only failed to pay out once in the last 10 games between the teams. Last week's matchup was an easy UNDER result.

At 5Dimes the Eskimos are listed as 1-point favorites against the Stampeders.

Ottawa at B.C. - Sunday, September 13

Last 10 Meetings: B.C. 2-1 SU, 1-2 ATS | OU 0-3

The RedBlacks beat the Lions both SU and ATS in the first meeting of the season between the teams back in July as they face each other for a second time on Sunday. Ottawa topped B.C. 27-16 as a 4.5-point underdog in that earlier contest, in an UNDER result. The UNDER has paid out in all three games between the Lions and the RedBlacks since last season.

At 5Dimes the Lions are listed as 4-point favorites against the RedBlacks.
