CFL Week 14 Betting Preview

The Edmonton Eskimos will be looking to shake off the longest losing streak in the Canadian Football League this week as they head to Calgary for a game against the rival Stampeders on Friday night. Meanwhile, the B.C. Lions will be working on a three-game winning streak on Saturday night.

The Alouettes lead the CFL's East Division at 8-4 SU (6-6 ATS) on the season, while the Tiger-Cats are back at 4-8 SU (6-6 ATS) and in danger of missing the playoffs. Montreal and Hamilton have split their two meetings so far this season, with the Tiger-Cats paying off on the CFL betting lines in both of those contests.

The Eskimos head into their Friday contest in Calgary on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them to 5-7 SU (7-5 ATS) on the season; they're now in last place in the West standings. The Stampeders sit at 7-5 SU and 6-6 ATS on the season, and they're 2-0 SU and 1-1 ATS against the Eskimos so far in 2012.

The Blue Bombers are a league-worst 3-9 SU (6-6 ATS) on the season, while the Argonauts sit at 6-6 SU and 6-6 ATS as they look to make up ground on the Als in the East standings. The Argos beat the Bombers 25-22 at home in their first meeting of the year, but didn't manage to cover the 9-point spread.

Sat September 29 - B.C. at Saskatchewan, 10:00pm ET
Last 10 Meetings: Saskatchewan 5-5 SU, 3-7 ATS | OU 3-7


The Lions are a league-best 9-3 SU (5-7 ATS) so far this season, and they'll be up against a Riders team on Saturday that has a record of 6-6 both SU and ATS. B.C. and Saskatchewan have met twice already this season, with both teams managing to pick up a win and cover the posted spread at the sportsbooks at home.
