CFL Week 4 Trends and Betting Preview

The Tiger-Cats are perfect ATS heading into Week 4 of the CFL betting slate while the Stampeders and the Roughriders are both still looking for their first payouts. Here's a look at the four CFL betting matchups on tap for Week 4; find game lines and futures at Bovada.

Hamilton at Montreal - July 16

Last 10 Meetings: Montreal 3-7 SU, 5-5 ATS | OU 5-5

The Alouettes are riding a two-game losing skid against the Tiger-Cats both SU and ATS into their Week 4 betting matchup on Thursday night, with Hamilton beating them twice and covering the spread both times in November last season. Montreal enters Week 4 at just 1-2 SU and 1-1-1 ATS on the season, while Hamilton is sitting at 1-1 SU but 2-0 ATS this year.

Edmonton at Ottawa - July 17

Last 10 Meetings: Ottawa 0-3 SU, 1-2 ATS | OU 1-2

The Eskimos will get a chance to blast the RedBlacks for the second straight week on Friday night, with Edmonton rolling to a 46-17 home win over Ottawa and easily covering the 6-point spread in Week 3. Edmonton is 1-1 both SU and ATS through its first two games of the season, while Ottawa is 2-1 both SU and ATS despite its setback last week.

B.C. at Saskatchewan - July 17

Last 10 Meetings: Saskatchewan 5-5 SU, 4-6 ATS | OU 2-8

The Lions edged the Roughriders 35-32 as a 2.5-point home favorite in the first meeting of the season between the teams in Week 3, which was just the second OVER result in the last 10 games between the Western rivals. B.C. is now 1-1 both SU and ATS heading into Week 4 of the season, while Saskatchewan is an ugly 0-3 both SU and ATS so far this year.

Winnipeg at Calgary - July 18

Last 10 Meetings: Calgary 9-1 SU, 4-3-3 ATS | OU 5-5

The Stampeders have just one SU or ATS loss in their last six games against the Blue Bombers, but that came in the most recent meeting between the teams in November of last season when Winnipeg won 18-13 as a 10-point road underdog. Calgary is 2-1 SU but winless at 0-3 ATS on the season, while Winnipeg is 2-1 SU and 1-1-1 ATS.
