2016 Ohio Republican Primary Odds

John Kasich is still hanging around in the race to win the Republican nomination, but he will need a win in his home state of Ohio to ensure he can stay put past March 15. Kasich has had some surprisingly strong showings through primary season thus far, most recently we saw the Ohio Governor pick up 17 delegates in Michigan.

Kasich is currently the odds-on favorite to win the Buckeye State, with Sportsbook listing him at -200. After five years of governorship in the state of Ohio, Kasich certainly has proven that he resonates with his home state.

However, it seems that slowing down the wave of Donald Trump support across the United States has been near unstoppable. The polling averages have seen a surprisingly close race between Kasich and Trump in Ohio, with the Sportsbook taking all 66 of the states Republican delegates.
