Harry’s Hypothetical Prop Shop: Patriots up to no Good?

Harry’s Hypothetical Prop Shop

With the New England Patriots back in the news again and not because of on-the-field issues (they have enough problems in that department), it got us thinking at Odds Shark of some possible outcomes that could result from them taping — of all teams — the Cincinnati Bengals on the sidelines when they played the Browns in Cleveland this past week.

The risk/reward ratio in this scenario doesn’t seem like a good one in terms of value, but the Patriots have done this type of thing before, so plenty of people (especially Pats haters) think they could do it again.

This seems like a beyond desperate measure for anyone, even the Pats, but we came up with some hypothetical prop bets that might come into play from their silly shenanigans.

Will the Patriots organization suffer some type of penalty for Allegedly Filming the Bengals?

Of course, this is the Patriots we’re talking about, so there’s always the possibility that this gets more crazy and more comes out as this story lingers. Patriots head coach Bill Belichick has sworn he knew nothing of this, but what could happen to the six-time Super Bowl champion and coach of the Pats since 2000?

Now the prop we are all thinking about. Well, most of us, anyway.

Bill Belichick is well known for his “On to Cincinnati” quote in 2014, referring to the Patriots’ next opponent when he didn’t want to discuss his Week 4 blowout loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. We wonder if Belichick might switch the subject to the Pats’ December 21 opponent if the latest scandal is raised by a reporter after this week’s Patriots-Bengals game.

Will Bill Belichick say ‘On to Buffalo’ in his postgame interview?
