The Call of Duty League will return after a three-week break with eight teams competing in the New York Subliners Home Series from July 10-12. The field of teams doing battle in the New York Home Series is not as deep as some of the more recent events, but will feature two of the top three teams in the CDL.
Who Will Be At the New York Home Series?
With the traditional group format taking place in New York, the eight teams have been divided into two groups of four. The two groups and their odds to win their respective groups are:

FaZe Look To Bounce Back
The Atlanta FaZe have lost the grand total of four maps this season, proving their dominance over the rest of the CDL. However, one of their few losses came in the most recent tournament finals when they were swept by the Florida Mutineers. That marked the first time in the short history of the league that FaZe lost 3-0.
However, throughout the entire event, we didn’t see the dominance we have grown accustomed to from Atlanta. The squad was taken to a fifth map in their first three games over the weekend, with teams like the Toronto Ultra and New York Subliners giving FaZe issues.
It was far from Atlanta’s best showing, but the squad still made it to the finals and still holds a healthy lead atop the standings. It will be interesting to see how Atlanta bounces back after its shaky outing at the Paris Home Series but bookmakers show little worry, with FaZe being pegged as a -125 favorite to be the last team standing.
Group B Looks Brutal
The groups are far from even at the New York Home Series, as Group B is stacked with top-notch competition. The four teams currently sit second, fifth, sixth and seventh in the standings.
Though the Chicago Huntsmen are the favorite to win the group, and own the second-best odds to win the entire Home Series, they are coming off their worst outing of the season. The Huntsmen finished 5th-6th in the Minnesota Home Series, being shuttled out of the tournament by the last-place Los Angeles Guerrillas.
The Minnesota ROKKR have been falling off recently, landing fifth or worse in their last three events. However, they opened the season as one of the best teams in the CDL and still have the potential to get hot.
The London Royal Ravens have proven themselves to be the true gatekeeper in the CDL with nine of their 11 losses coming at the hands of the top four teams in the league. If you remove those outings, the Ravens are 7-2. Can they finally get over the hump and beat one of the top teams?
The New York Subliners have slowly evolved into one of the most consistent teams in the entire league. The Subliners have finished 3rd-4th in each of their past three events with only the best teams in the CDL being able to top them. Much like the Ravens, the Subliners are on the cusp of breaking through and that could happen at the New York Home Series.
Team | Odds |
---|---|
Atlanta FaZe | -125 |
Chicago Huntsmen | +150 |
New York Subliners | +800 |
London Royal Ravens | +900 |
Minnesota ROKKR | +1100 |
Los Angeles Guerrillas | +1900 |
Toronto Ultra | +2900 |
Paris Legion | +5000 |
