EU LCS LoL Summer Split Betting Odds

The highly competitive EU LCS starts up for their Summer Split with the odds projecting another close finish. G2 eSports are the faves to win the split, but Fnatic and Origen are close behind.

G2 enters the second half of the season the winners of Best Coach, Outstanding Rookie and Split MVP on their payroll. Trick – who won Split MVP – was easily the most dominant jungler in the EU last split with the Korean posting a 5.2 KDA ratio and a 74 percent kill percentage. Outstanding Rookie winner Perkz was fantastic in the mid-lane and his varied champion pool makes taking him on a daunting task.

Fnatic ended up in the third place matchup after going down to G2 3-1 in the semifinals. Fnatic is a veteran-laden team that took some time to mesh through the Spring Split, but they started to put it together near the end. Rekkles continued to be one of the best ADC’s in the world after finishing the first half of the season ranked in the top 10 in KDA, CS per minute and kill participation.

Origen is a team full of young, mechanically inclined players that can win any game on Rift. Zven is dominant when he can play certain champions – Lucian and Kalista stand out – but can falter when he is forced into playing certain champs – he had a KDA of 1.0 with Ezreal while OG went 0-4 in those games.

There will be one new name in the EU as German soccer club Schalke 04 purchased Elements. The team has retained most of the same roster, but also added Fox to help bolster their mid-lane.
