Favorites To Win In The StarCraft 2: GSL Super Title Odds

Maru (+137)

Maru goes into most StarCraft 2 tournaments as the favorite, and it should come as no surprise because he is a five-time StarCraft 2 world champion. He has significantly strong Starcraft 2: GSL Super title odds heading into this tournament.

He has become one of the faces for the esport and is widely considered the greatest player in its history. He also doesn’t look like he’s slowing despite being considered a bit of a veteran. He started competing in this esport at the age of 13, hasn’t stopped since and is an inspiration to everyone else looking to compete in StarCraft 2.

If he’s on his A-game, the other contenders will find it extremely difficult to provide an answer.  He lost his last competitive match in StarCraft 2 esports to herO, which should add some spice to this tournament, but when he’s at his best, it’s hard to see anyone else toppling him. If he can make a strong start, it’ll be tough for the opposition players to stop his momentum.

Dark (+300)

Dark has been in phenomenal form in recent weeks, which is why he finds himself having excellent StarCraft 2: GSL Super title odds. Just a month or two ago, he was going through an inconsistent patch of form – on the up for one minute, down the next – but he’s since put on a number of top performances and will go into this tournament with lots of confidence.

For a long time, there’s been a feeling around competitive StarCraft 2 that Dark hasn’t been living up to his full potential. He was a rising star a while back, and while he’s one of the top players in the esport, it was believed that he’d underperformed.

This recent run of form suggests that he might finally be living up to the billing, and winning the StarCraft 2: GSL Super title might just be one more step toward confirming that.

Value Picks To Win In The StarCraft 2: GSL Super Outright Odds

herO (+420)

HerO has been phenomenal for a while, and it’s a bit of a surprise that he’s third on the StarCraft 2: GSL Super title odds table. He seems to have no fear and is capable of taking on anyone on his day.

He has had a few issues against ByuN, and will be hoping that he doesn’t have to face him in the draw, but big wins against the likes of Maru have increased his stock. He’s a bit unpredictable, but that makes him an excellent value pick.

Betting Strategy for Sportsbooks of the StarCraft 2: GSL Super

Old favorites like Cure (+1200) will believe that they have a say, but it looks like it’s going to be down to the three players who have been covered. Each one of them has an interesting angle. Maru is the safe pick, but he’s not as safe as he once was. There are players in this competition who can certainly get the better of him.

Dark is the in-form player and looks like he’s finally living up to his full potential. HerO is capable of beating anyone on his day, including the two other favorites for the StarCraft 2: GSL Super title odds. It’s easy to be tempted by each one of them. Our suggestion would be to maybe take a risk this time out and not pick Maru. It seems like the time for Dark is finally upon the StarCraft 2 world.
