The newest way to watch your favorite golfers is here with the TGL beginning on January 7. The TGL is in partnership with the PGA Tour and thus, this team-based, innovative league features the greatest golfers on earth such as: Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy and Collin Morikawa.

It is the latter, Morikawa, who's team, the Los Angeles Golf Club, that are the betting favorites at +333 at bet365 to win the inaugural TGL Championship. The other team members of Los Angeles Golf Club are: Justin Rose, Tommy Fleetwood and Shahith Theegala.

TGL Championship Odds: Los Angeles Golf Club +333

Possessing two of the top-10 golfers in the world rankings in Collin Morikawa (4) and Tommy Fleetwood (9) it's not surprising to have Los Angeles Golf Club favored to win the first TGL Championship.

Morikawa was the runner-up last week in The Sentry tournament with teammate Theegala settling for a T36 finish. Rose, the fourth on the squad, had a shaky 2024, missing the cut eight times in 24 events -- yikes.

It's difficult to see how real life golf skills will parlay over to hitting balls against a giant screen because I can attest that I could be a scratch sim golfer but far from it on the actual links. For this reason, I think it would be wise to place a bet after we see a few matchups to understand which players flourish in these conditions and which ones don't.

TGL Championship Odds Best Bet: Boston Common Golf +400

Despite me suggesting above to hold off on placing a wager right now, IF you ignore me and fire from the hip, might I suggest Boston Common Golf at +400.

This team includes: Rory McIlroy (ranked No. 3), Hideki Matsuyama (ranked No. 6) Keegan Bradley (ranked No. 12) and Adam Scott (ranked No. 18). Collectively, they have the highest average World Golf Ranking so on paper alone should warrant some attention. Further, in recent form, Matsuyama is coming off a win at The Sentry last week.

Don't burn the wallet on this one, but the value may not be there much longer if this team plays up to their capability.
