Odds to Win the 3M Open

General view of a tee box marker on the seventh hole during the first round of the 3M Championship at TPC Twin Cities on August 1, 2014 in Blaine, Minnesota.

For the first time in a half-century, the PGA Tour will make a stop in the state of Minnesota for the 2019 3M Open. At sportsbooks, Brooks Koepka is the favorite to win the hardware at TPC Twin Cities.

Koepka is the +700 favorite at Bovada, with Hideki Matsuyama (+1000), Jason Day (+1100), Bryson DeChambeau (+1400), Patrick Reed (+2200), Tony Finau (+2800), Viktor Hovland (+2800), Joaquin Niemann (+3300), Rory Sabbatini (+3300) and Charles Howell III (+4000) comprising the top 10.

11 of the top 30 men in the FedExCup standings will be at the 3M Open.

In total, 11 of the top 30 men in the FedExCup standings will be in attendance for the inaugural 3M Open. Minnesota had previously hosted a PGA Tour Champions event, two major champions and the Ryder Cup in the last 17 years, but this is the first time the state has had a regular tour stop since the Minnesota Golf Classic played its final edition in 1969.

Koepka Has Been Quiet at Non-Major Events

Koepka, Phil Mickelson, Patrick Reed, Ryan Moore and Jimmy Walker all participated in the 2016 Ryder Cup at nearby Hazeltine. Koepka, who won the PGA Championship and came second in the year’s other two majors, has finished outside the top 40 in his last two non-majors. The Floridian did triumph earlier this season at the CJ Cup at Nine Bridges, however.

The course, a 7,468-yard par 71, opened in 2000 and was widely considered one of the top layouts on the Champions circuit. The Arnold Palmer-designed track features 27 bodies of water. In each of the past seven years on the Champions tour, TPC Twin Cities ranked first or second in birdies among all courses.
