Tiger Woods Odds: FedExCup Betting

The PGA Tour begins its playoffs this week with The Barclays at Bethpage State Park, and the sportsbooks have Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy listed as favorites on those FedExCup betting odds.

However, it's McIlroy, and not Woods, that opened as the 6/1 favorite on the golf odds at Bovada to win The Barclays this week, with Woods second on that list at 7/1.

The Barclays, which runs from Thursday to Sunday, is the first of four FedExCup events on the PGA Tour's schedule, with the tour's champion being crowned at the conclusion of the TOUR Championship in late September.

Luke Donald is then at 22/1 on the opening odds to win The Barclays at Bovada, followed by a group of six golfers at 25/1: Bubba Watson, Justin Rose, Lee Westwood, Phil Mickelson, Steve Stricker, and Sergio Garcia.

Garcia enters The Barclays on a high note after winning the PGA Tour's last event, the Wyndham Championship, over the weekend. Garcia also won this tournament (then called the Buick Classic) in both 2001 and 2004 at the Westchester Country Club.

Dustin Johnson, who won The Barclays last year at Plainfield Country Club, is then at 28/1 odds for this week, with Adam Scott, Keegan Bradley, Louis Oosthuizen, and Webb Simpson at 33/1.

Matt Kuchar, the 2010 winner of The Barclays at Ridgewood Country Club, joins Hunter Mahan and Graeme McDowell at 40/1 odds for this week, with 2005 winner Padraig Harrington at 50/1; the 2005 tournament was also held at Westchester Country Club.

Heath Slocum is a 150/1 longshot on the golf odds at Bovada to win The Barclays this week. Slocum, who just slipped into the FedExCup field at No. 124 (of 125 golfers), won The Barclays at Liberty National Golf Club in 2009.
