Guys & Bets (Episode 15): Week 9 NFL, CFB Week 10, NHL Picks and the View from Vegas with Aaron Kessler

New week means new NFL and college football to cap so let Jonny OddsShark and Andrew Avery do a bit of the work for you!

To get the show started, the guys talk about some of the hot topics in the sports betting world: Todd Gurley’s decision to get tackled and thus miss the cover for the Rams and the OVER in their game against the Packers; the firing of one of the greatest fades there ever was, Hue Jackson; the most underrated five-win team in the NFL; the NHL’s deal with MGM Resorts; and whether or not Boston is definitively the best sports city in America.

The Tuesday show is for prime-time NFL games so the guys break down all three on the docket. First, and really least, is the San Francisco 49ers hosting the Oakland Raiders in the Thursday nighter. Then the guys talk about a much better game, the Sunday nighter between the Green Bay Packers and New England Patriots. Finally, it’s Monday Night Football as the Tennessee Titans visit the Dallas Cowboys.

College football features some big games as well and there is none bigger than Alabama-LSU at Death Valley. Next up is another SEC battle between Georgia and Kentucky. Finally, the guys take a look at a key Big 12 matchup as the Texas Longhorns host the West Virginia Mountaineers.

The football talk doesn’t stop there as Aaron Kessler, sportsbook director at the Golden Nugget, takes some time to talk about some of the key games and teams in the upcoming week.

If you’re looking for hockey picks, we’ve got you covered there as well as Kris Abbott breaks down his three favorite picks from Tuesday’s board.
