Guys & Bets (Episode 17): NFL Week 10 and CFB Week 11, Football Talk with Aaron Kessler & NHL Quick Picks

After one of the great public betting performances on Sunday, Vegas took it on the chin. Can the public keep the good times rolling in Week 10? Well, let Jonny OddsShark and Andrew Avery help with the November 6 episode of Guys & Bets.

First things first: the guys run through some of the hot topics in the betting world, including that historic Sunday for bettors and what we can do moving forward. The guys also break down Heisman odds, the upcoming playoffs in the CFL, the Floyd Mayweather-Tenshin Nasukawa fight that has been announced and whether or not banning Fortnite has helped the Vancouver Canucks become the best bet in the NHL.

Football capping is up next and the guys start with the NFL prime-time games and the Thursday nighter is a good one as the Pittsburgh Steelers host the Carolina Panthers. The Sunday night game sees the NFC East front and center as the Philadelphia Eagles host the Dallas Cowboys while the San Francisco 49ers return to prime time as they entertain the New York Giants. Will it be a letdown spot after the great Nick Mullens performance against the Raiders?

As for college, the Alabama Crimson Tide look to keep rolling as they host the defensively tough Mississippi State Bulldogs in the SEC. Notre Dame looks to keep pushing toward the playoff and this week they are big faves against a bad Florida State Seminoles squad. Finally, a nice matchup in the ACC as the Clemson Tigers, who have been killing teams lately, visit Boston College.

Aaron Kessler, sportsbook director at the Golden Nugget in Las Vegas, drops by to talk more football, including the weekend that was at his book and his thoughts on the Kansas City Chiefs as massive chalk against the Arizona Cardinals.

Finally, Kris Abbott has got his three favorite picks from tonight’s NHL board as he presents this episode’s NHL Quick Picks.
