Guys & Bets (Episode 18): NFL Week 10 and CFB Week 11, Rob Pizzola and NBA Quick Picks

The Thursday show is all about more: more NFL capping, more college capping and more sports betting talk. Jonny OddsShark and Andrew Avery run through three more NFL and college football games, but first they dissect some of the top stories in the sports betting world.

To start things off, the guys talk about the Ian Book injury and how many points the Notre Dame quarterback is worth to the spread, the significant adjustment to Duke’s odds to win the college basketball national championship after thumping Kentucky, NFL MVP odds and the Joel Quenneville firing.

For the NFL, the guys start things off talking about whether oddsmakers are giving bettors another gift with the Atlanta Falcons as 4-point road chalk at the lowly Cleveland Browns. Next up is the New England Patriots at the Tennessee Titans and why we should always just bet the Pats. Finally, the guys break down a weird line in Tampa Bay as the Bucs are favored against the visiting Washington Redskins.

In college football, there’s a huge matchup in the Big Ten as the Ohio State Buckeyes visit the Michigan State Spartans and Ohio State has been an ice-cold bet entering this one. There aren’t too many rivalries bigger than Bedlam and that’s in store this weekend with the Oklahoma Sooners as huge favorites against Oklahoma State. Finally, yet another biggie in the SEC as the Georgia Bulldogs host the Auburn Tigers, the fourth straight Top 25 opponent for the Dawgs.

Rob Pizzola is in studio and sits down on the Guys & Bets set to talk NFL betting with Jonny OddsShark about sharps vs squares in NFL betting and Joe Osborne has your NBA covered with his Quick Picks for the night!
