Guys & Bets: Two NBA Picks, Three Soccer Picks and an NHL Pick

Joe Osborne and Andrew Avery are back to fix your sports betting needs. There is an array of games on tap today, and the guys have narrowed it down to the NHL, NBA and three soccer picks.

Joe starts the show off with an NHL pick as it’s Connor McDavid and the Edmonton Oilers going to La Belle Province to take on the slumping Montreal Canadiens. The Habs are on a seven-game skid (0-6-1) and are starting to face the prospect of missing the playoffs for the fourth straight season. The Oilers come in having won three of their last four games, scoring 19 goals in that span.

Next up for Joe is the NBA. It’s two of the top teams in the Eastern Conference with the Boston Celtics and the Philadelphia 76ers squaring off in the City of Brotherly Love. Fresh off his first-ever ejection, Kemba Walker looks to rebound and lead the Celts. During his inaugural season in Boston, the three-time all-star leads the Celtics in points per game with 22. Joe’s pick is on his point total.

Another pick in the Association will wrap up Joe’s selections for today. It’s tough to say this season has been anything but disappointing for the Portland Trail Blazers thus far. They’ve gone 2-6 in their last eight games. Their opponents (and hosts), the Minnesota Timberwolves, showed some signs of promise with improved play from Andrew Wiggins early on. But with Karl-Anthony Towns having injury issues this season, the Wolves haven’t been able to maintain any success.

Ninja is all-in on the pitch today! He gets his picks kicked off with the Spanish Super Cup between Barcelona and Atletico Madrid. The tournament has a new format this season, with the top two teams from last season’s La Liga and the winner and runner-up from Copa Del Rey. Atletico comes into this match having scored eight goals in its last four games and Barcelona has scored 10 in its last five games. Ninja likes a goal bet for this one.

Next on the docket, Ninja has dug through the numbers and found a play for the EPL match featuring Sheffield United and West Ham. West Ham is fighting to stave off relegation, currently sitting with 22 points. They are in a real dogfight as eight teams are separated by a mere five ponts.

Finally for today’s show, Ninja has an early bet in the La Liga match between Leganes and Getafe. These squads are going in opposite directions rather fast. Getafe is a strong team away from home and will need to be to stay on pace with the top six squads in La Liga.

As always, the show wraps up with a Q&A session for our viewers, so if there’s anything you’ve always wanted to ask, you should be joining us live every weekday at noon ET on our YouTube channel!
