Guys & Bets (Episode 239): NFL Conference Championship Sunday Picks

It’s the Chiefs hosting the Titans and the Packers visiting the 49ers in the NFL conference championship games and Joe, Harry, Pamela and Ninja are here to break down their picks for the weekend.

Joe starts off with a wager on the NFC championship game between the Green Bay Packers and San Francisco 49ers. These two teams played in San Fran earlier this season (Week 12) with the 49ers easily winning 37-8. The 49ers defense led the way for them in that game and now they’re tasked with shutting down Aaron Rodgers and the Packers one more time to play for football’s ultimate prize.

Over in the AFC, the Tennessee Titans have turned into the darlings of the NFL but can they get past the Kansas City Chiefs? Down the stretch, Patrick Mahomes has looked like the MVP winner we expected to see from the get-go and with Travis Kelce exploding for three touchdowns last week, the Chiefs look primed for a trip to the Super Bowl. Joe takes a look at a side for this one.

Joe’s final pick for Football Friday is a prop bet. There are some really strong numbers to back this one up and it’s staggering once you hear them.

Ninja’s first pick is in the AFC championship and he takes a look at a team total with the Chiefs hosting the Titans. Over in the NFC, he’s got a player prop for one of the 49ers players who could end up being a handful for the Packers defense.

Pamela Maldonado drops in for a wager on the NFC championship game and she also likes a prop bet. The 49ers defense and their running game have set the tone for them all season and one of those options is where Pamela is going with her bet.

Harry Gagnon has two picks on the show today, one for each championship game. Let’s start in the NFC. George Kittle is arguably the best tight end in football and is the most dangerous weapon for San Francisco through the air. Harry likes a prop bet on Kittle’s performance.

On the AFC side, Harry is using past success to make his wager. This is familiar territory for Kansas City, in the AFC championship for the second consecutive season. Needless to say, the Chiefs have shown a propensity to light up the scoreboard, but so have the Titans. Harry has his sights set on a points prop here.
