Guys & Bets (Episode 243): Four NBA Picks, Plus Premier League and Serie A Picks

After an impressive showing (5-0-1) on Wednesday, Joe Osborne and Andrew Avery are back again trying to build off yesterday’s momentum on a relatively light Thursday board.

Joe starts off in the Association with a matchup you may need to bet on to watch. There is money to be made when two lower-level teams square off and Joe has found a sweet spot for this one. The Cleveland Cavaliers are home to the Washington Wizards in a matchup that offers bettors some interesting options and Joe’s wager is on the spread.

Staying in the NBA, the Dallas Mavericks and superstar Luka Doncic travel to Portland to lock up with Damian Lillard and the Trail Blazers. The Mavericks have been one of the better stories in the NBA this season as they sit in fifth place in the Western Conference. One of these teams is on a tear against the spread in a certain spot that Joe will highlight.

Joe’s final pick is a player prop as the Los Angeles Lakers continue their New York swing with a stop in Brooklyn to face the Nets. Since Kyrie Irving returned to the lineup, this player has had to take a back seat in terms of offensive output. Kyrie has struggled from the field his last two games and one would think he would try to put on a show vs his old running mate, LeBron James. That could hurt this player’s shot attempts even more.

The Wizards-Cavs game is offering another sweet opportunity. Ninja found a nice player prop for a player who is going against the norm. There’s no load management for this guy as he shines in the second game of back-to-backs. This player prop is an OVER wager for his point total.

Ninja is in on the lone EPL matchup today. The top team in the EPL, Liverpool, is at Molineux Stadium to take the pitch against Wolves. The hosts are in a three-way tie for the all-important fifth spot in the EPL. The wager here is on a goal total.

Sometimes when you see a good line, you have to bet it now. That’s the approach Ninja took with his final wager for the show. It’s for a Serie A fixture on Friday with Brescia hosting AC Milan. This is one of those games that AC Milan would hope to win as they are in a logjam of teams fighting for a spot in the Europa League. Brescia is currently sitting 19th out of 20 teams in Serie A.
