There’s something for everyone on today’s show as Joe and Ninja lay out their best bets for all the action you could want.
In the Steel City, the Pittsburgh Pirates are hosting the San Francisco Giants and Joe is looking at this game for a first-five inning bet. The Giants find themselves atop arguably the toughest division in baseball with a 23-14 record. They have been a pleasant surprise and they’re doing it without any real superstars.
It’s down to the nitty-gritty in the NBA as teams basically have two games remaining. After all the games thus far, there are a couple of things we know: the Washington Wizards and Cleveland Cavaliers don’t play defense very well. These teams match up tonight and Joe has a bet on a total that he really likes.
UFC 262 goes Saturday in Houston, and Joe is looking at the main event for his next bet. Charles Oliveira and UFC newcomer Michael Chandler will take the Octagon with the vacant lightweight belt on the line. Chandler, making only his second appearance in the UFC, is the betting underdog. Oliveira, after 28 bouts in the UFC, is getting his first title fight. Oliveira is also riding an eight-fight winning streak.
Tyler Glasnow takes the bump for the Tampa Bay Rays at Tropicana Field as the New York Mets are in town for Game 1 of a three-game set. The Rays have been exactly what we’ve seen from them for years: tough to play against, especially when Glasnow is dealing. The Mets have rattled off seven straight wins and sit in the top spot in the NL East. Ninja is looking at a moneyline bet for this showdown.
Napoli and Fiorentina take the pitch in Serie A this weekend. With only two games remaining in the season, Napoli is one point up on fifth-place Juventus for the last spot in Champions League qualification. So this one is big for them. Their odds to win come back really chalky, so Ninja is looking at a totals bet on this matchup.
