Joe Osborne and Andrew Avery are jacked up for a great slate of bets on today’s action across MLB and the NBA playoffs.
We start off in the NBA as the Dallas Mavericks, who are up 2-0, host the L.A. Clippers. Luka Doncic has been unstoppable against the Clippers in the playoffs both this season and last year in the bubble. So far in this series, he’s averaged 35 points, 8.5 boards and nine dimes. Joe is looking at his points total in this all-important Game 3.
One of the other games on tap has the Brooklyn Nets visiting the Boston Celtics and looking to take a stranglehold on the series. The Nets have looked the part through two games, winning by 11 and 22 points. Brooklyn is also the biggest favorite on the NBA board today, with the line being around 8 points depending on your book. Joe has found a nice spot for a player prop bet on a points total for one of the Nets’ big three.
What a celebration it was on the streets of New York when the Knicks won Game 2 to even the series at one game apiece. The series now shifts to Atlanta for games 3 and 4, and this is where Joe is looking for his bet on the show. He’s found a consistent spot that was a reliable bet during the regular season, and one that would’ve cashed in games 1 and 2 at the current number.
The Toronto Blue Jays split a doubleheader with the Yankees yesterday, and they now start a three-game series in Cleveland. The Jays trot out their ace, Hyun Jin Ryu, and Cleveland counters with rookie Eli Morgan. Blue Jays bats look to feast on the rook, as Vladdy Guerrero Jr. and company are finding their groove. Guerrero is making a run at the AL triple crown this season – he’s hitting the cover off the ball, sitting with a .333 batting average, 16 home runs and 41 runs batted in. It’s a moneyline wager here for Ninja.
