Guys & Bets (Episode 36): Tonight’s Bites, Early Super Bowl 53 Odds, NHL Quick Picks and Aaron Kessler

Well, Super Bowl 53 is all set up as the New England Patriots meet the Los Angeles Rams. We’ve got a couple of weeks to think about the big game, and the guys dig into the early odds, but there is betting to take care of off the top.

On this episode’s edition of Tonight’s Bites, Jonny OddsShark has insight and picks in college basketball as the Duke Blue Devils visit the Pitt Panthers, in the NBA as the Oklahoma City Thunder host the Portland Trail Blazers and, finally, the NHL as the Washington Capitals entertain the San Jose Sharks with both teams putting up nothing but L’s of late.

Next up, Jonny and Andrew take a look at the early Super Bowl 53 odds as the Patriots are currently 2.5-point favorites with a total of 57.5. Jonny’s got an early lean and some early ideas of what to bet, but nothing official quite yet.

The guys talk more odds and NFL betting with Aaron Kessler, sportsbook director at the Golden Nugget in Las Vegas, as he breaks down the action that he’s seeing at his shop, some props that garner a lot of attention at the Nugget and much more.

Jonny and Andrew also talk a little bit of what was in the news in the wake of Championship Sunday with overtime being a factor and some questionable officiating that got a lot of attention – especially in the NFC game.

Finally, Kris Abbott is here to break down Tuesday’s NHL board as he’s got three bets picked out for the ice as we skate into the NHL all-atar break.
