Guys & Bets (Episode 51): Tonight’s Bites, NBA Quick Picks, How to Bet the Last Month of the NHL Regular Season + More

On this Thursday episode of Guys & Bets, Jonny OddsShark talks about the NHL and Andrew Avery talks about Champions League futures, but first, as always, Jonny’s got his Tonight’s Bites segment.

First is the NBA and with the Los Angeles Lakers visiting the Toronto Raptors, two pretty bad bets, there is a lot of points on the board but Jonny is confident in his pick. Over in the NHL, the Boston Bruins hit the road to take on the Winnipeg Jets. Boston has basically had its way against the Western Conference but does Jonny think this trend keeps going or is he on the home team? Finally, it’s over to the ACC tournament with the North Carolina Tar Heels facing the Louisville Cardinals. One of these teams doesn’t fare too well at the betting window come conference tourney time and Jonny thinks that is going to continue Thursday.

We’re down to the final dozen or so games in the NHL and Jonny has some advice on what you should be paying attention to with teams on the playoff bubble. He also shares his thoughts on the Chicago Blackhawks OVER trend and whether or not now is the time to jump ship or keep hammering.

The final eight in Champions League is set so Andrew takes a look at the futures board and breaks down some points to keep in mind if you’re jumping into betting this tournament right now. Plus, he makes a pre-draw pick of who he thinks will come out on top in European football’s biggest prize.

Finally, Gilles Gallant is back with the NBA Quick Picks segment and Andrew, on a 5-0 run with his Guys & Bets soccer picks, has one more from Friday’s slate in Europe and he’s going back to Germany this time.
