Guys & Bets (Episode 53): March Madness Round of 64 Day 1 Picks + #ShowUsYoureSharp Pick Video

Day 1 of the 2019 NCAA Tournament is finally here and Jonny OddsShark and Andrew Avery are here to help you cap and break down their favorite picks on Thursday’s March Madness board.

Jonny gets things started with the first game of the day with the Golden Gophers of Minnesota facing the Louisville Cardinals as underdogs. Ninja shares his pick for Bradley facing Michigan State but he’s focused on the total in that one. Both guys are sided on one of the more divisive games of Day 1 with Ivy Leaguers Yale squaring off with the high-octane LSU Tigers. Old Dominion is a sizable underdog against Purdue (a team many like to make a run) and Jonny’s thoughts on this one might surprise some.

One of the highly anticipated games of the day pits superstars Ja Morant’s Murray State against Markus Howard’s Marquette and with 12 seeds frequently upsetting 5 seeds throughout the history of the tournament, the guys each have a thought on this one.

Many expect Michigan to make a deep run this time around, much like it did last season, and Jonny OddsShark isn’t shy of the massive spread against the Montana Grizzlies. Ninja has a pick on another highly anticipated matchup between Seton Hall and Wofford and also shares his potential moneyline upset spot for the day.

Finally, we run the first video submission pick in OddsShark’s #ShowUsYoureSharp contest. And remember, if today’s pick doesn’t hit, Friday’s pick stands to earn $1,000 for a correct call. So keep those video submissions coming!
