The guys are sided for their first two picks and the show starts off with Maryland against LSU. The guys both had LSU on Thursday and feel hard done by after Yale managed to cover the number thanks to a poor second half by the Tigers. But it’s straight back to the SEC team as they are small chalk against a Maryland team that was lucky to escape Belmont in the Round of 64.
For their second pick, it’s over to Ja Morant and Murray State, who were the story of the Round of 64 after smashing Marquette, fueled by a triple double from Morant. Next up for the Racers is the Florida State Seminoles in what could be the game of the day.
Wofford posted an impressive win and cover in the Round of 64 but now must face the Kentucky Wildcats in the Round of 32 Saturday but the with Terriers as underdogs, does Jonny feel they can hang tight with the Wildcats?
Gonzaga smashed Fairleigh Dickinson in the Round of 64 but does Baylor pose a much bigger threat? Andrew has a pick for this game as the No. 1 seed Zags look to keep the tournament going and look to cover another spread.
Jonny moves to Florida versus Michigan and tries to his Wolverine fandom to the side to make his pick. Ninja stays in the Big Ten for his next pick as he caps Minnesota and Michigan State. He was on the total in the first Spartans game and although that pick did not hit, he’s going right back to the total once again.
Jonny finishes off his picks with the Villanova Wildcats against the Purdue Boilermakers, both of whom looked very good in their tournament openers before Ninja goes to the Auburn-Kansas game to finish off his selections.
