Guys & Bets (Episode 63): Monday’s Picks for NBA Playoffs, Stanley Cup Playoffs & MLB!

March Madness is finished and Guys & Bets is transitioning to a daily show to help set you up for the betting day ahead. Today, April 15, marks the first day of the new format and Kris Abbott and Andrew Avery are here to help you cap all things NBA, NHL and MLB!

The guys start on the ice with Ninja taking a look at the Colorado Avalanche hosting the Calgary Flames and with Mike Smith on absolute fire between the pipes, are the Flames poised to go up 2-1? Kris has his eyes up north as the Boston Bruins and Toronto Maple Leafs shift gears to the Air Canada Centre with the series even at one game apiece and with great value all around.

Over in the NBA, the Brooklyn Nets will try to upset the chaotic Philadelphia 76ers once again after a big Game 1 win as 7.5-point road dogs and Ninja is absolutely in love with a side in this one. With just one other game on Monday’s board, Kris breaks down the Los Angeles Clippers-Golden State Warriors Game 2 and with such a big spread on the board, do we keep backing GSW or is it time to fade and back the dog? Kris chimes in.

Over in the big leagues, the Minnesota Twins host the Toronto Blue Jays and plan on trotting Martin Perez to the bump to face Matt Shoemaker. Ninja has his eye on a total in this one – but not a full game. He has reason to believe that one of these teams should be able to eclipse their posted team total. Speaking of MLB totals, Kris takes a look at what’s available on the board as the New York Mets visit the Philadelphia Phillies for the start of a three-game set with Noah Syndergaard facing Aaron Nola.

One of the new additions to the show is a poll involving you, the viewer, and we put out a poll focusing on that Game 2 between the Nets and Sixers. Who did you guys pick? Tune in to find out and we’ll keep tracking these public bets throughout the show!
