Guys & Bets (Episode 91): Joe and Kris Break Down Five MLB Picks From Tuesday’s Board

With no NBA or NHL playoff games on the board today, Joe Osborne and Kris Abbott stick to the diamond to break down their five favorite Major League Baseball plays on the board.

Well, it was going to be six until Martin Perez was scratched from his start as the Minnesota Twins host the Milwaukee Brewers.

In any event, plenty to choose from on today’s board. Up first, Joe breaks down a first-five total play as the New York Yankees host the San Diego Padres after the Yanks won 5-2 on Monday.

Kris heads to Houston as the Astros host the Chicago Cubs and he’s got his eyes on a team total for the first five innings in this one.

One of the bigger games on the board pits the Washington Nationals at the Atlanta Braves and Joe has a full-game moneyline pick in this NL East matchup.

Kris loves him some Lucas Giolito and with the Chicago White Sox hosting the Kansas City Royals, will he be backing or fading one of baseball’s biggest cash cows on Tuesday?

As mentioned, Joe had a pick for the Minnesota Twins, who host the Milwaukee Brewers, but with Perez scratched, no play from Joe on the show today for that one.

Kris finishes things off out west as the Los Angeles Angels visit the Oakland A’s with a runline play.

As always, the show ends with some Q&A from the audience and while Ninja was confused with some in the comments saying that tonight’s Royals-White Sox was suspended, that has been cleared up.
