It's the Dodgers' world and we're just living in it. Los Angeles secured a memorable World Series victory in 2024 and has only grown its chance of a repeat with a massive offseason.
Notable Dodgers signings this winter include Blake Snell, Teoscar Hernandez, Roki Sasaki, and Tanner Scott, among many others. Naturally, L.A. is quite favored in the 2025 World Series odds.
I'll look at all the odds and futures markets in this 2025 Dodgers season preview. There's a lot to cover, so let' dive in.
2025 Dodgers Odds: Division, NL Pennant, World Series
World Series Odds | NL Pennant Odds | NL West Odds |
---|---|---|
+250 | +140 | -480 |
Odds as of Feb. 4
You can see what the public thinks of the Dodgers ahead of 2025. I can't blame 'em either. If Shohei Ohtani successfully returns to the mound in '25, this team will have the best rotation of all time. It'll be some collection of Ohtani, Yoshinobu Yamamoto, Sasaki, Tyler Glasnow, Snell, and Clayton Kershaw. After that, Tony Gonsolin and Dustin May are waiting in the wings.
That deep, deep staff complements an already deadly batting order. Ohtani, Mookie Betts, and Freddie Freeman are all back, as is Hernandez. That was enough to get it done last year. Even if Ohtani doesn't come close to his 50-homer/50-steal pace, the Dodgers will easily lock up the NL West at -480. I prefer a bet on them to win the NL Pennant than the World Series, but I'm out on both those markets due to the short odds.
2025 Dodgers Win Total Odds
2025 Win Total | OVER | UNDER |
---|---|---|
103.5 | -110 | -110 |
Odds as of Feb. 4
I recommend playing the OVER because I’m confident that by the end of the regular season, I’ll look back on this bet and wonder why I didn’t double or triple my stake. There's a notion that the Dodgers could win north of 110, even 120 games with their superteam. I'd call it unlikely (+200 maybe), but pick'em odds at 104 wins seems fine by me. Feel free to parlay this with other futures (perhaps Dodgers MVP or Cy Young futures).

Ohtani’s 2024 with the Dodgers was legendary: .310 average, 54 home runs, 130 RBIs, and 59 steals, capped by a World Series win over the Yankees. His historic 50-homer, 50-steal campaign made him an easy MVP choice. With a return to the mound in 2025, even limited pitching could elevate his dominance to new heights, hence his chalk status.
I prefer Ohtani out of the three listed Dodgers NL MVP contenders. I think Betts and Freeman will regress this season after battling injuries in 2024.
As for pitching, I'd lean toward Snell, which is easy for me to say with him third on the NL Cy Young odds board. I just like his track record of dominance (Cy Youngs in both leagues), plus he can rack up the strikeouts and innings required to win the award.
For value, Yamamoto is the best pick. He'll stay healthier than Glasnow and will have a longer innings leash than Sasaki or Ohtani.
