Albert Pujols 600th Home Run Prop Odds

The list of MLB players to mash 600 home runs is a small one featuring a who’s who of legendary sluggers. The likes of Barry Bonds, Hank Aaron and Babe Ruth are part of an elite group of players to achieve such an accomplishment but they will have a new member in the very near future.

Albert Pujols is undoubtedly the greatest home run hitter of this generation and sits just three short of reaching 600 in his career. Now it is not an “if” but a “when.” And of course, you can make plenty of interesting prop bets about this historic accomplishment.

At the time of this writing, Pujols has hit six home runs this season in 43 games played. That works out to a home run roughly every seven games. If that pace keeps up, Pujols should be hitting the 600 home run mark around mid-June – against the Kansas City Royals if his same pace remains perfectly static.

You can get Pujols to hit his 600th homer against the Royals at +275 but the best odds have the big man hitting that mark against the New York Yankees. The Angels play the Yankees before and after the series with the Royals, so there will be plenty of opportunities for Pujols to accomplish that feat against New York.

Either way, we are in the midst of watching a true Hall of Fame career. The three-time MVP and 10-time all-star will be on his way to Cooperstown soon enough, but first, he needs to make a stop at the 600 HR club.
