I've sniffed out a winning MLB same-game parlay today.
This Angels vs Royals game might not be the sexiest game on the slate, but I think there's a path to some juicy value in a parlay featuring a Los Angeles upset.

Angels vs Royals Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 1: Angels ML
The Angels are reeling. They've lost six of their last seven games. But, Tyler Anderson is LA's stopper. The lefty has allowed over three earned runs in just two of his last seven starts. The Angels, despite their under .500 record, are 4-3 in Anderson's last seven outings.
Earlier this year, Anderson pitched 6.2 innings in an Angels win over the Royals, allowing just three runs and striking out four batters (that'll be relevant below). The LA lefty also owns current Royals batters in general. He's held active KC hitters to a .256 average and .661 OPS, allowing just one homer in 82 at-bats.
One guy that does scare me is Sal Perez. The Royals' big catcher has four extra-base hits off Anderson in 17 ABs, good for a .980 OPS. If you want to fade my whole parlay and just take a Perez prop tonight, you can get him at -120 to go OVER 1.5 total bases.

Angels vs Royals Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 2: UNDER 8.5 Runs
I think Anderson is going to help us to this UNDER, as four of his last seven starts have gone UNDER 8.5 runs (and he's good against the Royals as I mentioned above).
But, I think KC's Cole Ragans is going to pitch-in, too. Ragans has allowed over three earned runs in just one of his last seven outings.
Both LA and KC are UNDER teams this season, too. The Royals are 65-57 to the UNDER in 2024 while the Angels are 61-59.
Angels vs Royals Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 3: Tyler Anderson O 3.5 Ks
I don't really get this strikeout line at all for Anderson. The Angels lefty is coming off consecutive 7+ strikeout performances. He's gone OVER 3.5 Ks in six of his last seven starts, averaging 7.1 strikeouts per game — almost double this line.
I get that the Royals have the second-lowest team strikeout rate in baseball, but they still get struck out sometimes. Three of the last four starters the Royals have faced earned over 3.5 Ks.
