Let's kick off this week with an MLB same-game parlay. I'm honing in on the Red Sox vs Blue Jays contest, expecting the offense to steal the show.
Here are the three legs for my Blue Jays vs Red Sox same-game parlay:

The Game: Blue Jays vs Red Sox - 7:07 p.m. ET
Bet | Odds |
---|---|
Nick Pivetta Under 17.5 Outs Recorded | -120 |
Over 7.5 Total Runs | -122 |
George Springer To Record A Hit | -230 |
Overall | +359 |
Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 1: Pivetta Under 17.5 Outs
Pivetta has only completed six innings (over 17.5 outs) once in his last four outings and just three times this entire season. While the Blue Jays' offense is nothing special, they do rock Pivetta historically. Currently Toronto batters have a .306 average and .940 OPS against Pivetta in 157 career at-bats.
In four matchups with the Blue Jays last season, Pivetta surpassed 4.0 innings pitched in just two of the four contests. Over the last two years, he's gone under 17.5 total outs against the Blue Jays in five of eight starts.
Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 2: Over 7.5 Total Runs
I've already talked about how Toronto's current hitters take Pivetta to town (nine homers, 21 XBH in 157 at-bats), but it's not like Yusei Kikuchi is much better against the Red Sox. Current Red Sox hitters have a .297 average and .836 OPS against Kikuchi. Masataka Yoshida and Rafael Devers have homered against Kikuchi in the past.
This is also a Boston offense that's pretty hot right now. Over the last two weeks, the Red Sox have scored the fifth-most runs in baseball scoring 5.7 per game in the last 13 contests. In that time, the Red Sox have a .292 team average, good for best in baseball. I think both sides of this one should help us get over 7.5 runs.
[tor_vs_bos_if_jays_get_6_get_a_bonus_bet:BET99-2374158]Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 3: Springer Hit
George Springer is having himself a brutal season, hitting just .196 on the year with a .579 OPS. But, he's been decent lately. The Blue Jays outfielder has a hit in three of his last seven contests and has reached base in five of his last seven.
But, this bet is mostly about Springer's historical success against Pivetta. The Toronto outfielder has 10 hits in 27 career at-bats against Pivetta, rocking a .370 average and .993 OPS. I expect a lot of offense in this one, and Springer is one of the many players I expect to get a hit.
