The 27-year-old gave up five runs on a season-high 12 hits in his last time out on July 12 in a 5-4 loss to Philadelphia. The hurler is 4-7 with a 4.25 ERA in 19 career meetings with Boston. Gausman is 4-5 with a 4.28 ERA away from home in 2018.
Red Sox dominating the Orioles of late
The Red Sox managed only one run while splitting the final two games of a series with Detroit before routing the Tigers 9-1 on Sunday to improve their record to 70-31, and they’ve been fantastic against the Orioles lately.
