YRFI/NRFI Picks For Today: Rox Geared For Another YRFI Win

Y/NRFI picks are your new best friend if you want instant MLB action. Personally, I hate waiting for my bets to hit, so I'm all in on this popular betting format.

Here are my two Y/NRFI bets for Monday, June 3:

Pick 1: Brewers vs Phillies: No run First inning (-115)

Matchup Preview - Game Time: 6:40 pm ET

Places NRFI bettors! It's a Zack Wheeler start day.

When Wheeler starts, my advice is very simple: bet the NRFI. The NL Cy Young favorite is 12-0 NRFI this year, so I'm also surprised by the -115 NRFI odds. Usually, Wheeler prompts the books to push lines in the -130, -140 range. The value is great on our Monday play today.

While Wheeler is the first-inning GOAT this year (0.00 ERA), Brewers starter Bryse Wilson is pretty damn good too in the first frame. The stocky starter has allowed just a single hit and one run in eight starts. This is a heavenly setup for our NRFI bet.

Pick 2: Reds vs Rockies: Yes Run First Inning (-125)

Matchup Preview - Game Time: 8:40 pm ET

I wrote recently about the Rockies' spot atop the YRFI throne. Nobody does it better than Colorado's 36-22 YRFI record. As such, Rox pitchers sport some juicy YRFI numbers.

Ryan Feltner goes for the Rox Monday. He's on our hit list, mostly due to his 11.45 first-inning ERA. Feltner has allowed 14 first-inning runs in 11 starts. But one man does not make a bet. I've learned that you need two to tango in Y/NRFI betting.

So Andrew Abbott will save the day. The Reds lefty hasn't been brutalized like Feltner, but he's a sneaky YRFI candidate with a 5-6 YRFI record and a 6.55 ERA in the first inning.
