It's a new day, so that means another MLB same-game parlay. This time, I'm diving into a matchup between the Guardians and Orioles, two AL titans.
Cleveland stole Game 1 of the series and gave us a sneak preview of what's to come. Here are three legs for my Guardians vs Orioles same-game parlay:
Guardians vs Orioles Same-Game Parlay: June 25th
The Game: Guardians vs Orioles - 6:35 p.m. ET
Bet | Odds |
---|---|
Cole Irvin OVER 2.5 Earned Runs | -130 |
Jose Ramirez OVER 1.5 Total Bases | -135 |
Guardians Moneyline | +125 |
Overall | +320 |
Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 1: Irvin OVER 2.5 Earned Runs
I've faded Cole Irvin many times and my day, and, for the most part, I've come out on top. Still, he's a baffling pitcher, whose success in Baltimore comes as a mystery to many.
Lately, though, ol' Cole hasn't been killing it. The lefty owns a 5.63 ERA in his last three starts, allowing 22 hits and 12 runs in 16 innings. Of note, he has also allowed three homers and an .881 OPS during that span.
Cleveland has been a very successful squad, partly due to timely offense. Not many Guardians hitters have had a look at Irvin. Josh Naylor is 2-for-6 and Steven Kwan is 1-for-3. The Guards are also ninth in MLB with a .757 OPS vs LHPs. Three runs isn't asking much, so I bet Cleveland gets it done.
Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 2: Ramirez OVER 1.5 total bases
Ramirez has been so solid that his 1.5 total bases OVER sits at around -135 odds. Believe me, I wish we could scrape better value, but we'll take the chalk because Ramirez is in line for a big day.
While the Dominican native has cashed this OVER in six of his last 10 contests, including three straight games, that's not even the real kicker. I'm fading Irvin, so Ramirez is the perfect guy. He's slashing .348/.396/.692 vs LHPs this year, adding six homers and 20 RBIs to make it even more special.
Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 3: Guardians ML
I debated between Guardians ML and the OVER total runs, but alas, here we are. I won't go so far as to say Cleveland is the better squad, but this game deserves tighter odds, perhaps even a pick'em line.
In a game this close, I'll happily take the underdog Guardians at +125. Starter Logan Allen (5.23 ERA) doesn't inspire baskets of confidence, but Cleveland has won six of his last eight starts.
