Phillies vs Blue Jays

MLB Same-Game Parlay Today: Guardians vs Blue Jays (+700)

It's time for a Friday MLB same-game parlay, this time for a matchup between the Guardians and Blue Jays. First pitch goes at Rogers Centre at 7:07 p.m. ET.

Here are the three legs for my Guardians-Blue Jays same-game parlay:

Blue Jays vs Guardians Same-Game Parlay: June 14th

The Game: Blue Jays vs Guardians - 7:07 p.m. ET

Daulton Varsho OVER 0.5 Hits-140
Kevin Gausman OVER 5.5 Strikeouts+132
Guardians ML+120

Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 1: Varsho OVER 0.5 Hits

Varsho has been a clutch performer for Toronto this year, despite his .217 batting average. But with a lower total, this prop stands out to me.

The Blue Jays outfielder has picked up a hit in seven of his last 10 games and 59% of games this year. Varsho's latest hot stretch came during Toronto's road trip, too, which is interesting because his numbers are better at home. Varsho owns a .826 OPS at Rogers Centre vs a .691 OPS everywhere else.

His -140 odds represent a nice moderate landing for our first leg of this same-game parlay.

Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 2: Gausman OVER 5.5 Strikeouts

The Guardians strike out less than all but one team in MLB. Cleveland is famously difficult to strike out. Seriously, the G-Men have done it for years. But are they stingy enough to push Gausman's strikeout OVER to plus-money odds? I'm not buying it.

While Gausman's strikeouts are down this season, he's hit the OVER in six of his last 10, including a season-high 10 strikeouts last time out during a complete game vs Oakland. The Guardians are pesky, but not pesky enough to derail Gausman's day and stop him from hitting his prop bet.

Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 3: Guardians ML

Here's a little pivot for you. I'm going with the Guardians ML, even after my previous Blue Jays picks. Cleveland is the third-best AL squad (43-23 SU), and Gausman has had some bad luck at Rogers Centre over the years. Officially, the right-hander is 10-13 at home since 2022. Now that record only represents games in which he was awarded an official decision.

The Blue Jays are 2-4 SU when Gausman starts this year, and Cleveland might just attack a weak Blue Jays bullpen again Friday.
