Outs Recorded Prop Picks For May 14th: Back Hunter Greene

I, regretfully, went 0-2 in my first shot at MLB outs recorded props yesterday, despite being fairly confident with both my picks.

I could panic. I could entirely change my process. But, I'm gonna stick with what I've got for at least one more day.

Here are my two MLB outs recorded props for May 14th:

Pick 1: Kyle Bradish Under 17.5 Outs Recorded (-132)

Matchup Preview - Game Time: 6:35 pm ET

Kyle Bradish has only made two starts this season coming back from injury, and the Orioles haven't yet let him pitch more than 90 pitches or more than five innings. That alone is a good place to start for this outs recorded under, but there's more.

This current Blue Jays lineup has Bradish's number. Collectively the Toronto hitters have a .296 average and .861 OPS against Bradish in 98 career at-bats. Bradish has faced this Toronto lineup seven times over the last two seasons, notching over 17.5 outs recorded just twice.

Dating back to last year Bradish hasn't even gone over 15 outs in each of his last four outings, either.

Pick 2: Hunter Greene Over 17.5 Outs Recorded (+115)

Matchup Preview - Game Time: 9:40 pm ET

I know Greene has gone under this mark in his last two starts. But, in the month of April, he went over 17.5 outs in four of his five outings. Last time out, he went five innings against the same Diamondbacks he faces tonight, but was pulled at just 84 pitches. The Reds easily could've left Greene out there for another frame.

I expect Greene to have a stronger start against Arizona tonight, because the DBacks just can't hit righties right now. Arizona ranks fourth-worst in baseball against RHP, with a .219 average and .657 OPS.

If there's one cause for worry here, it's Greene's history against the DBacks. He's played them three times in their career, and gone over this outs recorded mark just once.
