Rays Aiming for Five Straight Wins vs Bronx Bombers

After dropping their first five meetings with the New York Yankees this season while getting outscored 31-10, the Tampa Bay Rays have rattled off four straight wins against the Bronx Bombers and will look to make it five when the AL East clubs renew acquaintances in the Sunshine State.

Wood (0-0, 2.70) is set to make his second start of the campaign but will likely only pitch one or two innings. The 24-year-old worked one frame in his other start against Detroit on July 11, allowing two hits while registering a pair of strikeouts. Wood facing the Yankees for the first time in his career.
