MLB Player Props Today: Chourio Looking For Sixth Straight OVER

Today's MLB player prop picks focus on trends I'm seeing for baseball's hottest players.

For example, Jackson Chourio has been an offensive machine in Milwaukee lately, so you better believe I'm including him in my player props for today, April 11.

MLB player Props Today

Jackson Chourio OVER 0.5 Runs (+105 at Sportsbook)

The runs market is an untapped gold mine. It's understated enough that maybe books don't give it the right attention, plus it's fairly easy to achieve for all players. Runs, steals, homers, and walks all help hitters get close to cashing the runs OVER.

Chourio is the runs master at the moment. He's scored 11 runs this season, including a run in seven of his last eight games. In his last five games alone, Chourio has scored eight runs. He's doing a lot of it with homers, but the runs option, especially at plus money, lets us confidently bet him to make big plays happen. This bet casts a wide enough net for me to be happy laying a wager on a red-hot hitter like Chourio.

Willy Adames OVER 1.5 Total Bases (+120 at Sportsbook)

Adames hasn't started great in his inaugural Giants season, batting just .184 with no homers through a dozen games. That said, he owns Yankees starter Marcus Stroman, and that's why I like his chances of an extra-base hit Friday.

Adames is 9-for-19 lifetime vs Stroman with a .565 SLG, two homers, and an .842 OPS. That's a good start for our bet. Meanwhile, Stroman has been a mess for NYY, yielding seven runs in 8.2 IP with four walks to six strikeouts. He's lost, and Adames' strong history might just help us deliver this plus-money bet.
