MLB Player Props June 28

MLB Player Props Today: Two Hit Prop Locks

I want to end my week by seeing a few balls go through the hoop, so I'm going after two lay-ups in my MLB player props for Friday.

These may not be the juiciest lines I've ever bet on, but I like my chances at two wins. Here are my two MLB player props for June 28th:

June 28th MLB Hit Prop: Freddie Freeman Over 0.5 Hits (-280)

Dodgers vs Giants Matchup Preview - Game Time: 10:16 pm ET

Logan Webb is a great pitcher, but he has been giving up hits lately. The Giants ace has allowed at least five hits in each of his last five starts, allowing 34 total knocks in 33 innings pitched during that run.

That's music to Freddie Freeman's ears. The Dodgers slugger has 14 hits in 31 career at-bats against Webb, good for a .452 average and 1.130 OPS.

Freeman is also on a classic Freddie Freeman run, hitting .299 on the season with 12 hits in his last 10 games. Freeman has had a hit in eight of his last 10 games.

Two guys to avoid against Webb (or maybe take their unders) are Will Smith and Gavin Lux. Both Dodgers hitters have averages under .185 against Webb in 14+ at-bats.

June 28th MLB Hit Prop: Christian Yelich Over 0.5 Hits (-240)

Cubs vs Brewers Matchup Preview - Game Time: 8:11 pm ET

Jameson Taillon is having a sneaky good season, rocking a 2.90 ERA and striking out 10 batters in his last outing. But, he's still giving up plenty of hits. Taillon has given up at least six hits in seven of his last eight starts, including allowing nine or more hits twice in that run.

I think Christian Yelich is the perfect opportunity to take advantage of those hits. The Brewers outfielder is hitting .325 this year and has at least one hit in eight of his last nine games. He's also had Taillon's number in the past, hitting .385 off the Cubs righty with 10 hits in 26 at-bats.
