I'm back with MLB player props today for April 16, and with around 20 MLB games in the bag, I can give credence to some trends to help shape my bets.

Gunnar Henderson OVER 1.5 Total bases (+120 at Sportsbook)
Henderson is healthy and back in the O's lineup, and I envision a big day for him Wednesday. He has started slowly (9-for-38, .599 OPS in nine games), but a breakout is near — today's pitching matchup will help him get there, too.
I mentioned Guardians starter Gavin Williams in my NRFI picks today because he could be the victim of a landslide of runs at 4:10 p.m. ET. The Orioles, including Henderson, have cranked him in a small sample size. Henderson is 2-for-3 lifetime with a home run, plus he has cashed the OVER 1.5 total bases in two consecutive contests.
I always try to be ahead of the curve in props betting. Now is a good time to get wagers in on Henderson.
Anthony Santander OVER 0.5 Total Bases (-165 at Sportsbook)
From a current Oriole to a former Oriole: Santander will help us out today. The Jays slugger has cashed this OVER in six straight games and eight of his last 10. I'm surprised the books have his line down to 0.5, but that appears to be the Spencer Strider effect. "Quadzilla," as they call him, makes his season debut for the Braves today in Toronto after a year on the shelf due to injury. When Strider is dialed in, he's one of baseball's best. But will he have his A stuff? Even if he does, I trust Santander to finish at least 1-for-4. "Tony Taters" is also 1-for-2 lifetime vs Strider with a double.
