MLB Player Props Today: Bet On A Haniger Homer

I'm back with two more MLB player props to finish off the work week. I've got a tail and a fade for ya, looking at a Kyle Gibson pitching prop and a long-shot Mitch Haniger bet.

Here are my two MLB player props for June 14th:

June 10th Outs Prop: Kyle Gibson Under 17.5 Outs (-102)

Cubs vs Cardinals Matchup Preview - Game Time: 2:11 pm ET

Gibson's line is set this high. The Cardinals righty has been kind of a quality start machine this year, reaching over 17.5 outs in three of his last six starts and owns a 3.76 ERA on the year. But, Gibson hasn't pitched more than 18 outs in any of his last seven outings, constantly teetering on the edge of this under. I think the Cubs bats are going to force him short.

Current Chicago batters tee-off on Gibson, owning a .340 average and 1.013 OPS in 94 career at-bats. Gibson hasn't won a start against the Cubs in his last three attempts.

Opposing starters have reached six innings pitched (18 outs) just once in the last five games against the Cubs, too.

June 10th Home Run Prop: Mitch Haniger To Homer (+450)

Rangers vs Mariners Matchup Preview - Game Time: 10:11 pm ET

Andrew Heaney has been pretty solid this year, pitching to a 4.06 ERA and 1.27 WHIP — a useful starter, for sure. But, the one thing he always does is give up homers. He's giving up eight bombs in his last 10 starts and has allowed at least 1.2 home runs per nine innings every since 2015.

One guy Heaney has given up a few bombs in the past two is Seattle's Mitch Haniger. The Mariners outfielder has three homer runs in 25 career at-bats against Heaney, owning a .320 average and 1.157 OPS against the Texas starter, too.

Haniger hasn't been a huge power threat this season, hitting just six homers in 65 games. But, this history against Heaney is hard to deny.

Another Seattle bat to watch against Heaney is OF Dylan Moore, who owns a .375 average in 16 career at-bats against Heaney. Moore is -170 to get a hit.
