MLB Player Props June 10

MLB Player Props Today: Bet On A Sal Perez Homer

I'm kicking off my week with a pair of MLB props props, looking to the offensive and defensive side of the field.

I've got one homer prop and one pitcher strikeout bet for today's MLB slate. Here are my two MLB player props for June 10th:

June 10th Home Run Prop: Sal Perez (+350)

Yankees vs Royals Matchup Preview - Game Time: 8:10 pm ET

There aren't many key matchups to hone in on today, but Sal Perez vs Carlos Rodon is an exception. Perez has faced Rodon in 20 at-bats during their careers, with the Royals catcher notching nine hits and two homers in that stretch. Perez owns a 1.276 OPS against Rodon in his career.

While Rodon has been great this year, he's allowed at least one homer in seven of his last eight starts and nine total dingers in that run.

Perez is having a solid season in general this year, too, posting an .863 OPS (would be his highest in a full season EVER) and 10 homers in his first 64 games.

When Perez goes long, the Royals are 7-3 on the year. They're +108 underdogs today against the Yankees.

June 10th strikeout Prop: Kyle Harrison Over 3.5 Ks (-160)

Giants vs Astros Matchup Preview - Game Time: 9:45 pm ET

I wanted a reason to bet Harrison's strikeout under so badly today. The Astros are pretty solid against lefties (.740 OPS) and have the fourth-fewest strikeouts in baseball against southpaws.

But, this line is just way too low. Harrison has gone over 3.5 Ks in his last five starts and eight of his previous nine. He's also giving the Giants length lately, too, pitching at least five innings in each of his last eight outings. If Harrison can avoid getting rocked by Aaron Judge/Juan Soto, he should be able to stay in this game long enough to go over 3.5 Ks with ease.
