MLB Home Run Props June 3

MLB Home Run Props Today: Take Bregman To Bomb

Let's start the week with some dingers. I've got two MLB home run props for Monday June 3rd, honing in on some players who historically dominant against their opposition tonight.

With picks on Ryan Mountcastle and Alex Bregman, here are my two home run prop picks for June 3rd:

Pick 1: Ryan Mountcastle To Homer (+500)

Orioles vs Blue Jays Matchup Preview - Game Time: 7:08 pm ET

Mountcastle tortures the Blue Jays. In 54 career games against the Jays, the Orioles slugger has 15 homers and a .984 OPS. Those numbers get even better at Toronto’s Rogers Centre, where Mountcastle has a 1.046 OPS and six homers in 22 career starts. I expect that 6ix success to continue tonight.

Given his success against the Jays in general, Mountcastle has some pretty career numbers against Toronto starter Kevin Gausman, as well. In 14 career at-bats against Gaus, Mountcastle has six hits and a .929 OPS.

If you think Mountcastle is due for another multi-hit day, you should consider backing the Orioles in general. Baltimore is 11-3 in games where Mountcastle has 14 hits this season.

Pick 2: Alex Bregman To Homer (+550)

Cardinals vs Astros Matchup Preview - Game Time: 8:10 pm ET

Alex Bregman had a rough start to the season, but he's heating up lately. The pending-free agent has 10 hits and four homers in his last six games. If the Astros are going to get back in World Series contention, they'll need Bregman to stay hot.

Tonight, Bregman draws a favorable matchup against Cardinals starter Kyle Gibson. In 23 career at-bats against Gibson, Bregman has a 1.081 career OPS with four extra-base hits in two homers already.

Gibson has dealt with homer issues in his career, but unfortunately for us he's actually been pretty good at keeping the ball in the park this year. Gibson has allowed just two homers in his last five starts and eight in his last ten.
