Here's my MLB same-game parlay for this late-night showdown, where I analyze three parlay legs:

Blue Jays vs White Sox Same-Game Parlay: May 29
The Game: Blue Jays vs White Sox - 7:40 p.m. ET
Bet | Odds |
---|---|
Alek Manoah UNDER 5.5 Strikeouts | -130 |
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. OVER 1.5 total bases | -115 |
Blue Jays ML | -170 |
Overall | +400 |
Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 1: Manoah UNDER 5.5 Strikeouts (-130)
All roads lead back to Manoah, who let me down with an ugly six-run performance last time out. Now I'm not counting on a flawless outing from Manoah (as the UNDER suggests), but I think he'll bounce back.
I'm using Kevin Gausman's start Tuesday as a benchmark. While Gausman didn't have great velo and the splitter wasn't fantastic, he still carved six innings of one-run ball, albeit with just three strikeouts.
If Manoah succeeds Wednesday, I'll bet it's a messy outing with multiple walks and fewer strikeouts, hence the first leg of our same-game parlay.
Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 2: Guerrero OVER 1.5 Total Bases (-115)
Guerrero is my guy for this MLB matchup. While the 25-year-old didn't pick up the required 1.5 total bases Tuesday, he put on an exit velocity show, smashing multiple liners over 109 mph. That's the type of contact that tells me Vladdy is back in business.
Vladdy also matches up well against Chris Flexen, a pitcher whom he is 4-for-10 lifetime against with a double. Guerrero brings new confidence and a rejuvenated approach to the dish these days, and I love it. He's batting .382 this month and certainly won't slow down against Flexen.

Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 3: Blue Jays ML (-170)
As I said in my previous same-game parlay, Toronto is a way better club, and the offense has come alive over the last few games. Manoah is a big differentiator in this contest, though, as a poor outing from him thrusts Toronto's awful bullpen into action early.
Luckily for the Blue Jays (and this is part of why I recommend this bet), most key arms in the Jays bullpen are rested and ready to go. Yimi Garcia and Jordan Romano will both be available to help lock down that pesky moneyline when the time comes. My faith has waned in Toronto's two leverage arms, but this is the White Sox. No matter what the Blue Jays' numbers say, Chicago is one of the worst squads in MLB history, so I'll happily take Toronto at -170.
