As we approach the final month for the MLB regular season, there is plenty of data to sift through and strategies to use. But, perhaps with fantasy football drafts and college football beginning, maybe MLB has been on the back burner with little research recently. Well, don’t worry as I have crunched the numbers and dove into the stats to provide you with my favorite five MLB bets today.

Angels (-110) over the Red Sox

- David Price is making his first start in nearly a month coming off the IL.

- Los Angeles has won each of Andrew Heaney’s last five trips to the mound.

- Andrew Heaney had a sparking 1.82 ERA in August and has tossed three straight quality starts.

Dodgers and Diamondback OVER 10 (-105)

- Ross Stripling is making his first start since late July coming off the IL.

- Los Angeles scored the 10th-most runs vs LHP over the last month.
