Kyle Busch is favored in the Charlotte Motor Speedway odds.

Kyle Busch Favored to Drive to Victory Lane in the Coca-Cola 600

The Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series is back in action following its all-star race last week and the drivers remain at Charlotte Motor Speedway for the Coca-Cola 600. Kyle Busch won this race last May, leading 377 of the 400 laps, and he is a +325 favorite to become the first back-to-back Sportsbook at Charlotte since Kasey Kahne in 2006.

Sportsbook has Busch as the favorite at +325 followed by Kevin Harvick at +450, Martin Truex Jr. at +600, Brad Keselowski at +700, Chase Elliott and Joey Logano at +800, Clint Bowyer and Kyle Larson at +1400, and Denny Hamlin, Erik Jones and Ryan Blaney at +2000 to round out the top drivers on the oddsboard.

Standout Stats

  • Ford has one win over the last nine runnings at Charlotte Motor Speedway and that came from Joey Logano in 2015. Toyota and Chevrolet have each won four of the remaining eight races over that span.
  • There hasn’t been a back-to-back Sportsbook at Charlotte Motor Speedway since Kasey Kahne in 2006.
  • The Sportsbook at this track has qualified in the top three in five of the last nine runnings there.
  • Kyle Busch won last year’s race at Charlotte Motor Speedway, the first time he drove to victory lane there in his 29 career starts. He does have 12 top-five finishes over that span as well.
  • Kevin Harvick led 33 of the 88 laps last week in the all-star race at this track and he has three wins at Charlotte over his 35 career starts, but he hasn’t grabbed a checkered flag there since 2014. He has finished on the podium in six of the last 11 runnings at this track.
  • Brad Keselowski has finished fifth or worse in eight of the last nine races at Charlotte Motor Speedway. He did drive to victory lane there in 2013.
  • Martin Truex Jr. has finished inside the top five in six of the last seven runnings at this track, including five podium finishes and two victories. He has also won two of the last four races on the season overall.

My Best Bet for the Coca-Cola 600:

Martin Truex Jr. +600

Truex has been very consistent at Charlotte Motor Speedway recently and has two victories over the last five races there. He finished 10th last week in the all-star race and failed to lead a lap but I expect him to be a strong contender to pick up the checkered flag this weekend.
