NASCAR Betting : October Schedule

Top drivers will be looking to pay out on the NASCAR odds at the sportsbooks and advance through the next stage of the Chase for the Sprint Cup in October, with the month offering up races at the Kansas, Charlotte, Talladega, and Martinsville tracks.

Hollywood Casino 400 (October 5)

Kevin Harvick was the Sportsbook of the Hollywood Casino 400 at Kansas Speedway last season, paying out on the NASCAR betting lines ahead of Kurt Busch, Jeff Gordon, Joey Logano, Carl Edwards, Jimmie Johnson, Paul Menard, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Marcos Ambrose, and Aric Almirola. Gordon won the 5-hour Energy 400 on the track ahead of Harvick and Kasey Kahne back in May.

Bank of America 500 (October 11)

Last year's Bank of America 500 at Charlotte Motor Speedway was won by Brad Keselowski, who beat Kasey Kahne, Matt Kenseth, Jimmie Johnson, Kyle Busch, Kevin Harvick, Jeff Gordon, Ryan Newman, Denny Hamlin, and Carl Edwards across the finish line. Johnson won the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte back in May, with Harvick ending up second and Kenseth finishing third at that race.

GEICO 500 (October 19)

Jamie McMurray won the October race at Talladega Superspeedway last season, with the rest of the Top 10 for that event rounded out by Dale Earnhardt Jr., Ricky Stenhouse Jr., Paul Menard, Kyle Busch, David Ragan, David Gilliland, Martin Truex Jr., Ryan Newman, and Clint Bowyer. Denny Hamlin won the Aaron's 499 at Talladega back in May, with Greg Biffle and Bowyer ending up second and third that day.

Goody's Headache Relief Shot 500 (October 26)

Jeff Gordon was the champion at last year's Goody's Headache Relief Shot 500 at Martinsville Speedway, as he took the checkered flag that day ahead of Matt Kenseth, Clint Bowyer, Brad Keselowski, Jimmie Johnson, Kevin Harvick, Denny Hamlin, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Greg Biffle, and Jamie McMurray. Kurt Busch held off Johnson and Earnhardt Jr. to visit Victory Lane in the STP 500 at Martinsville back in March.
