NASCAR Betting: September Schedule

The Sprint Cup Series takes NASCAR betting into the postseason in the month of September as the Chase for the Sprint Cup gets underway at Chicagoland Speedway with the MyAFibStory.com 400 on September 21. That's the second race on the circuit's slate for the month of September, with NASCAR betting events also on tap for the tracks at Richmond, New Hampshire, and Dover.

Federated Auto Parts 400 (September 6)

Carl Edwards made the trip to Victory Lane and paid off on the NASCAR betting lines in the Federated Auto Parts 400 at Richmond International Raceway last season, with Kurt Busch, Ryan Newman, Jamie McMurray, Paul Menard, Matt Kenseth, Martin Truex Jr., Jeff Gordon, Mark Martin, and Ricky Stenhouse Jr. making up the rest of the Top 10 drivers. Joey Logano beat Jeff Gordon and Kyle Busch for the win in the Toyota Owners 400 at Richmond back in April.

MyAFibStory.com 400 (September 14)

The 2014 Chase for the Sprint Cup gets underway with the MyAFibStory.com 400 at Chicagoland Speedway on September 14, with Matt Kenseth taking the checkered flag in this event last season over Kyle Busch and Kevin Harvick. Kurt Busch, Jimmie Johnson, Jeff Gordon, Brad Keselowski, Ricky Stenhouse Jr., Clint Bowyer, and Ryan Newman rounded out the Top 10 drivers on the NASCAR odds in that race.

Sylvania 300 (September 21)

Matt Kenseth also won last year's Sylvania 300 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, beating Kyle Busch, Greg Biffle, Jimmie Johnson, Jamie McMurray, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Brian Vickers, Jeff Burton, Carl Edwards, and Martin Truex Jr. for the NASCAR betting payout in that race. Brad Keselowski won the Camping World RV Sales 301 at New Hampshire back in July, with Kyle Busch and Kyle Larson finishing second and third that day.

AAA 400 (September 28)

Jimmie Johnson picked up the victory in the AAA 400 at Dover International Speedway last season, crossing the finish line ahead of Dale Earnhardt Jr., Joey Logano, Jeff Gordon, Kyle Busch, Kevin Harvick, Matt Kenseth, Ryan Newman, Greg Biffle, and Clint Bowyer. Johnson also claimed the victory in FedEx 400 at Dover back in June, edging Brad Keselowski and Matt Kenseth for the payout on the NASCAR odds at the sportsbooks at that race.
