Brad Keselowski will be looking to hold off Jimmie Johnson in the driver standings on Sunday afternoon as the Chase for the Sprint Cup continues in the Sylvania 300 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.
Keselowski is coming off a win in the first race of the Chase over the weekend at Chicagoland Speedway, visiting Victory Lane in the Geico 400. That was Keselowski's fourth victory of the season, and it moved him into first place in the current Chase standings.
Jimmie Johnson ended up in second place at Chicagoland and is now second in the Chase standings (three points back of Keselowski), but on the NASCAR futures at Sportsbook heading into the Sylvania 300 this weekend he's been pegged as the +250 title favorite.
Denny Hamlin - fourth in the current standings after ending up back in 16th place at Chicagoland - is next at +450 odds, followed by Keselowski at +500 to walk away with the Sprint Cup this year.
Tony Stewart (+600), Dale Earnhardt Jr. (+800), Kasey Kahne (+1000), Clint Bowyer (+1500), Martin Truex Jr. (+1800), Kevin Harvick (+2200), Greg Biffle (+2500), Matt Kenseth (+3000), and Jeff Gordon (+5000) round out the Sprint Cup futures board.
Johnson has won Cup events at New Hampshire three times in the past, taking the checkered flag in the 2010 Lenox Industrial Tools 301 and also in both races at the venue back in 2003.
Stewart, Gordon, Bowyer, Ryan Newman, Jeff Burton, and Kurt Busch also have multiple career Cup victories at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. Kasey Kahne is the most recent Sportsbook at the track - he finished in first place at the 2012 Lenox Industrial Tools 301.
