Following a weekend doubleheader at the Tricky Triangle which had two exciting finishes, the NASCAR Cup Series now heads to Road America for the Jockey Made in America 250. With this being another road course, it should come as no surprise that Chase Elliott is the betting favorite in the Jockey Made in America 250 odds.

Why is Elliott the Favorite in the Jockey Made in America 250 Odds at Road America?
Quite simply, anytime that the NASCAR Cup Series visits a road course the sportsbooks would be wise to set the reigning champion as the chalk. Elliott has made 15 road-course starts, winning six of those races while landing inside the top 10 in 10 starts as well.
Chase has won one of the three road courses thus far this season, though, he was the car to beat at the Daytona road course but a late caution hurt his chances. His victory at the Circuit of the America’s was his lone checkered flag of the season.
Elliott’s 2021 NASCAR Stats
After securing five wins and a championship last season, Elliott has had a bit of a slower ride in 2021. He has just one win, one stage win and has led only 219 laps. Despite not being the dominant driver he was last year, he still is tied for second in the NASCAR Cup Championship odds.
NASCAR Predictions this week for the Jockey Made in America 250: Road America
I sound a little bit like a broke record with the NASCAR Cup Series visiting several new tracks this season and while this isn’t the inaugural running at Road America, it is the first Cup Series race at this track since 1956. With a lack of data, it can be difficult to handicap but we can be sure that the Hendrick Motorsport cars will be competitive as always.
Chase Elliott +250: As I talked about in the above section, it’s incredibly hard to fade Elliott when it comes to road courses winning nearly half of the runnings that he started at those style of tracks. While he isn’t having the best season thus far, look for him to be challenging for his second checkered flag of the season on Sunday.
Kyle Larson +350: Larson has the most wins on the season with four and won the most-recent road course at Sonoma about a month ago. The No. 5 machine nearly had a fifth win in the first leg of the Pocono doubleheader until he crashed on the final lap when he had a sizeable lead – he finished ninth. Overall, Larson has been the most dominant driver in the Cup Series this year and is one that you can feel confident in when you place you bet.
Joey Logano +1200: There has been just one driver that has finished inside the top five in all three road courses this season and while your guess of Elliott or Larson would be a strong one, it is in fact Joey Logano. Of the three races, he has finished second, third and fourth and while he hasn’t driven to victory lane at a road course this year, he did pick up a win in the Bristol Motor Speedway dirt race. Logano has been the best performing and most consistent Ford this season and if he’s in the mix toward the end, he’s worth the shot at 12:1.
