Brad Keselowski holds the lead in the Sprint Cup standings but not on the NASCAR futures at the sportsbooks as the Chase heads to Talladega this week for Sunday's Good Sam Roadside Assistance 500.
Keselowski won his second race in the last three weeks over the weekend, taking the checkered flag in the AAA 400 at Dover International Speedway. That pushed him ahead of Jimmie Johnson and into first place in the driver standings.
After three Chase races it's Keselowski at 2,142 points, with Johnson just behind him at 2,137 points, and Hamlin third at 2,126 points. Hamlin won the second race of the Chase at New Hampshire Motor Speedway two weeks ago.
Still, it's Johnson who sits as the +150 favorite on the NASCAR betting odds at Sportsbook heading into the Good Sam Roadside Assistance 500 at Talladega this weekend, followed by Keselowski at +250 on those odds, and Hamlin at +400.
Clint Bowyer, who is fourth with 2,117 points, is then tied with Kasey Kahne at +1,500 odds at Sportsbook to win the Sprint Cup championship this season, with Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Jeff Gordon both at +1800 odds on that list.
Tony Stewart (+2000), Kevin Harvick (+3000), Martin Truex Jr. (+3000), Greg Biffle (+4000), and Matt Kenseth (+5000) round out the current NASCAR futures at Sportsbook.
Keselowski visited Victory Lane at Talladega both earlier this season and in 2009, with Bowyer (2010 and 2011), Johnson (2011), Harvick (2010), and Stewart (2008) other recent winners on the track.
